The duck boat is built using polystyrene foam which gives if strength and provides flotation. The boat is 12 feet long by 44 inches wide and provides a low profile design that requires little cover to hide. Our total cost to build the boat was under $300 which included the grass sheets. At approximately 350 pounds it only drafts around 3 inches. Total build time was under 20 hours spread out over several days. The boat is ideal for a hunter and dog or two hunters. The boat weighs approximately 80 pounds and is easy for one person to manuever.  Most of the materials can be purchased at your local home improvement store and the other items (resin, cloth) can be purchased on Ebay.

The duck blind is built using pvc pipe and camo material of your choice. It was designed to break down for transport and can be re-assembled in less than two minutes when you reach your hunting destination. It will easily hold 3-4 hunters. It was made to easily be moved to where the ducks are or you can leave it stationary all season.

Now that you have a new duck boat, it's time for some outdoor fun.  If you're spending the day in a boat, be sure to have plenty of snacks, supplies and drinking water.  Use a water filter for the purest quality water.  There are plenty of camping water filters out there to choose from.  You could always just bring some bottled water if you don't want to risk drinking from a stream.
